Another Church leader has fallen. How should Christians react to a leader who commits a grave sin? Cassiodorus, an early Church scholar, reminds us that our hope is in the Lord.
Good word brother. I’m reminded that God had only once to work with a perfect specimen among men: the Lord Jesus Christ. I am pleased that in His divine forbearance, He is contented “to write His straight story with crooked sticks.” There is hope for us all. May God have mercy on Dr. Lawson and extra grace on those soiled by his sin.
Sounds like all the entities he was involved in withdrew their involvement from him. And he himself admitted to it, wasn't outed. All involved admitted it was wrong, but it sounds like no-one added to the confusion by implying sin meant he wasn't saved, just that, in this case, he shouldn't lead.
Thank you for an excellent perspective. Indeed, all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Those who fall from high places hit the ground with a much louder thud.

A big Amen to that.
No one is beyond falling, King David for example.
Thankfully, none also is beyond repentance, redemption and restoration in Christ.
We again pray that this unfortunate incident will not become a stumbling block to the faith of others in Jesus' name. 🙏

Yep.
What happened outwardly for Mr Lawson happens inwardly in every Christian man.
He was willing to confess. Are we willing to do the same?
May we all learn to confess our sin as we ought…and early on
